Basic Function
Management of specific projects.
Directs and controls Supervisor / Sub Engineer to ensure project is
executed in accordance with procedures to client specifications.
1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1.1 Operations
a) Assist Business Line Manager in project organisation.
b) Establish project procedures and budgets.
c) Brief ROV Supervisor and ROV team.
d) Ensure project is executed to client specifications.
e) Liaise with clients.
f) Monitor performance.
g) Check and approve contract variation.
h) Check field expenses.
i) Allocate resources.
1.2 Specific Additional Duties
a) Actively participate in adherence to and improvement of the
company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues.
b) If applicable provide project safety plan.
c) Conduct project briefing including project specific HSE subjects.
d) Identify use of additional PPE.
e) Instruct field staff on emergency procedures.
f) Instruct field staff on accident / incident reporting.
g) Ensure investigating of incidents reported.
2. Principal Working Relationships
a) Inform Business Line Manager about ongoing projects.
b) Liaise with ROV Supervisor and senior field staff regarding project execution and progress.
c) Liaise with Tender Co-ordinators on project requirements and advise on technical aspects for tenders.
d) Inform Reports Co-ordinator on applicable project requirements.
e) Instruct technical / logistics support staff on requirements for projects.
f) Inform Operations administrator fro travel arrangements.
